NEW YORK: Samsung will reportedly bring out several new smartphone models in 2015. Recently, leaks came out on the specs, design and construction of the Galaxy A7, Galaxy Grand Max, Galaxy E5 and Galaxy J1.
The Galaxy A7 has been described as the next instalment of the company’s “A” range of smartphones. It was first reported to have a 5.5-inch display but later on the size of the display was reduced a bit to 5.2 inches. It has also been rumored that the device will come with an octa-core processor which could either be the Exynos 5433 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.
Rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max indicate that the smartphone is going to be pretty much like the Galaxy A7 in that it will have a 5.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. As for its CPU, it is going to be a 1.2GHz quad-core version. Along with it will come 1.5GB of RAM. The rear camera on this particular phone is rumored to be a 13-megapixel version while in front will be a 5-megapixel version.
Coming to the Galaxy E5, almost all its specs have been leaked, indicating that the smartphone will feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720 pixels. Also on board will be an 8 megapixel rear camera combined with a 5 megapixel camera in front. As for RAM, it will have 2GB. In terms of storage it will have16GB onboard while its chipset will be the Snapdragon 410.
Leaks on the Galaxy J1 indicate that it will be designed for those who are looking for a cheaper smartphone. This means that it will have a 4.3-inch WVGA display along with a Spreadtrum SC6815 chipset, a Cortex-A7 CPU coupled with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB of onboard storage.
