LAHORE: Punjab Board of Revenue Senior Member Nadeem Ashraf has said that board has deposited almost RS 735 million to national exchequer by issuing 77601 computerized land documents and 24809 mutation deeds through newly established Computerised Land Record Centers during last month.
He said this while briefing a delegation of senior officers led by Senior Member Board of Revenue Sindh, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqi who visited Board of Revenue Punjab on Friday.
He said that computerized fard and mutation deeds are being issued to land owners within 30 minutes and 50 minutes respectively. He added that computerize centers have been set-up in 143 Tehsil of the Punjab.
Giving details, Nadeem Ashraf said that out of 363 mauzas, land record of 186 mauzas has been computerized. He said that land record computerization has been completed in 20 districts of Punjab while date of 16 districts has been registered.
Land Record Management Information System Project is being speedily completed for the provision of transparent and easy services of land record in the province.
Senior Member Board of Revenue Sindh, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqi also requested to computerize the land record of Sindh so that land mafia could be eliminated from Sindh
Nadeem Ashraf assured all out cooperation to Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqi and his team and said that Punjab government will provide technical expertise at every level.
