WARSAW: According to central statistical office figures, Poland’s registered unemployment rate held flat at 12.0% in February 2015 from the earlier month level of 12%. The registerd umber of jobless at the end of February were 1.9182million.
While the number of new registrations measured 189,300, down from 247,300 in January. According to Poland’s Labor Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz Poland will hit a lasting single-digit joblessness rate this year “on condition that Poland makes use of EU funds and continue to reduce overall wage costs”. He further added that Poland could gain a half million new jobs in the coming two years.
