WARSAW: A Poland based company Maple is aiming to invest around PLN 123.5m to expand the output capacity of its production facility. The Polish factory makes PP film, and its output is supplied to different producers of consumer goods, laminates and labels. The Maple Company is to take on a further 70 employees at the plant to increase its output capacity in Szprotawa. The project will be completed by the end of 2017.
Owing to the facility’s location in the Wałbrzyska special economic zone (WSEZ), Great Maple Company will benefit from preferential tax treatment for its latest investment. The zones will remain operational in Poland until the end of 2026.The manufacturer has obtained a permission to carry out the project and expand its plant this March, the WSEZ said in a statement.Szprotawa is located about 53 km from the city of Zielona Góra.
