ISLAMABAD: After slight increase in global oil prices, rates of petroleum products are expected to rise by 3.5 percent.
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) said that in global market, oil price recorded slight increase during February so the regulatory authority would increase fuel price in local market as well.
Petrol prices are likely to be hiked by Rs. 3.97 per liter, High Octane Bleeding Component (HOBC) by Rs. 4.50 per liter. Likewise, increase of Rs. 2.66 per liter in the rates of kerosene oil, Rs. 3 per liter for High Speed Diesel (HSD) and Rs. 2.61 Light Speed Diesel (LDO) would be made.
Current petroleum prices are: HOBC Rs 77.10, petrol Rs70.29, HSD Rs80.61, LDO Rs57.94 and Kerosine Oil Rs61.44.
