NEW YORK: Apple already announced the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iMac Retina that are all set to hit the markets before this year ends, many have been kept in the dark about the future of the iPod Touch 6th Generation.
Tim Cook had already ‘cooked’ up new features to be integrated not only to the iPhones, but also to the iPod Touch 6th Generation.
Apple, in its plans to take over the world as mentioned by other news sites, planned to incorporate the mobile payment system called Apple Pay in the iPod Touch 6th Gen. It will also have a radio application to allow you to tune in to your favourite stations.
While the design remains unknown, rumours have circulated online that it would have a 4-inch Retina Display and an insight camera in the rear. An A9 microprocessor will also be built for better, faster, higher performance that hopefully won’t disappoint.
Initial reports have suggested that the New Gen. iPod Touch was going to be announced on the October 2014 event at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California. But the big event and the month came and went, yet it was to no avail. While the technological mogul has been cryptic about any news surrounding the release date, we have reported before that they’re aiming for a release date early next year. When could this ‘early next year’ possibly be?
Many of you might be disappointed that you won’t be getting the iPod Touch 6th Gen. over the Holidays. After all, wouldn’t it be the perfect Christmas gift? The reasons behind the postponement are some technical issues that Apple had to deal with. Rest assured, though, that like many of the Apple gadgets it will surely be worth your time. Planning on buying the iPod Touch 5th Gen instead?
