NEW YORK: Lithuanian energy Minister left for the United States to discuss possibilities to import natural gas from the U.S. local media reported.
During his weeklong visit, Rokas Masiulis is expected to secure political support from the U.S. for natural gas supplies to the new liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Klaipeda seaport, which began to operate at the end of 2014.
The terminal just starts operating, and it’s expanding to the international markets,” Masiulis said in an interview with national radio LRT.
