BEIRUT: Lebanon’s industrial exports in the first 10 months of 2014 dropped by 7.5 percent compared to the same period in 2013, the Industry Ministry said Friday.
Industrial exports in the first 10 months of 2014 reached $2.657 billion compared to $2.872 billion in the same period of 2013,” a statement issued by the Industry Ministry said.
According to the ministry’s statement, compared to the same period in 2012 industrial exports in the first 10 months of 2014 dropped by 10.6 percent.
Moreover, the monthly average of exports during the first 10 months of 2014 reached $265.7 million, compared to $287.2 million for the same period in 2013, and $297.3 million in 2012.
The statement gave a detailed overview of industrial exports during October 2014, saying that they reached $269.1 million compared to $252.2 million in October 2013 and $282.1 million during the same month in 2012.
