COPENAGHEN: The new Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade have been introduced in Copenhagen. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) conducted the official launch in the Danish capital in partnership with the Italian and the US embassies, which hosted the ceremonies. The first date was at the historic Italian embassy where Ambassador Stefano Queirolo Palmas presented the new Fiat 500X, recalling how the creation of the Italo-U.S.
Joint venture has been crucial for the revival of the two companies both sides of the Atlantic, which are now one of the big seven major players on global markets. He put the accent on Italy as a great manufacturing country, showing the video “Italy – the extraordinary commonplace” made by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Italian Trade Commission (ICE).
The general manager of FCA Scandinavia, Alessio Castelli, gave a detailed rundown on the new Fiat 500X, which will be on the Danish market from April, saying that the merger of the two brands had first saved the companies in difficult times and then given rise to successful integration with great potential.
Then it was the turn of the US ambassador’s residence in Copenhagen, with Rufus Gifford presenting the new Jeep Renegade, the first Chrysler manufactured outside the United States at the factory in Melfi, Basilicata.
