LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has selected six officers of the Customs and Inland Revenue as trade officers on the proposal of the Ministry of Commerce. All six officers are performing their duties in different wing of the FBR.
The officers that are selected as foreign trade officers include Director in Directorate of Input output Co-efficient Origination (North) Lahore, Muhammad Saddique (BS-20), Dr Akhter Hussain (BS-19) Additional Director in Directorate of Post Clearance Audit Lahore.
Deputy Director in Directorate of Treading and Research(Customs) Lahore, Ms Muneeza Majeed (BS-18), Deputy Collector in office of Chief Collector (Customs) Lahore, Abbas Ali Baber(BS-18), Deputy Director in Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation FBR Lahore, Salman Afzal (BS-18), Deputy Director in Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement Lahore, Peerzada Muhammad Omer Qasmi (BS-20).
The FBR has made it clear that there is not a single allegation in any case against six officers and no disciplinary action has ever been taken against such officers that’s are selected as Trade Officers from Lahore Customs and Inland revenues by FBR.
Six selected officers with colleagues will take necessary action in the Pakistan Trade Mission abroad. He will also attend meetings regarding foreign trade. Selection has been made by the Ministry of Commerce proposal.
