Grants 25 days’ ex-Pakistan leave for Umrah to another
LAHORE: The Federal board of Revenue has dismissed Customs Inspector working at the Mughalpura Dry Port.
The FBR dismissed Muhammad Sharif Watto, MCC appraisement Lahore taking disciplinary action against him under Efficiency and Discipline Rules 197. A charge sheet was prepared against the inspector. Ms Sira Agha, additional Collector of Customs Adjudication conducted inquiry on account of various acts of omission and commission committed by inspector.
According to sources, charges levelled against him have been proved and the officer has found guilty of misconduct under Government Servant Rule, 1973.
Considering the recommendation of the inquiry officer, the member administration imposed major penalty of dismissal from services on Watto. The sources said that the dismissed officer has the right to appeal under Civil Services Rules.
Meanwhile, the MCC Appraisement has approved 25 days’ ex-Pakistan leave of Shahzad Ishaq, Inspector Mughalpura Dry Port, Lahore to visit Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
