KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken notice of short fall in tax collection and a stern action is expected against the responsible. FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa has castigated the RTO’s and chief commissioners for short fall in revenue. The chairman reviewed the tax collections and directed eight officials concerned to collect maximum revenue during a video conference with them. “In case of failure, RTO’s will be transferred and they will be deprived of their performance allowance,” Customs Today learnt.
