FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has kicked off a crackdown to curb smuggling in the Faisalabad region, along with Lahore, Gujranwala and Multan.
In this regard, Punjab Police Inspector General Mushtaq Ahmad has directed all regional police officials to cooperate with the intelligence teams of the FBR to eliminate the menace of smuggling, which has been hitting the economy hard.
Police officials have been assigned duties to assist FBR’s intelligence teams to make the crackdown successful.
