MULTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate Multan has generated Rs 1.6375 million from the auction of seized smuggled vehicles and goods in the month of April.
Deputy Collector Dr Muhammad Ali Malik along with Superintendent Tanvir Ahmad Malik was supervising the auction at the Customs House Multan.
The auction was held in the building of Model Customs House Multan for the month of April. Only three smuggled vehicles were presented including Toyota Probox, Toyota Hilux Surf, and Toyota Vitz for the public sale at the MCC Multan. Two vehicles including Toyota Hilux Surf and Toyota Vitz were auctioned in Rs 580,000 and Rs 625,000 respectively.
The smuggled seized vehicle Toyota Probox automatic was rejected during the bid of auction for lower bid than its average price.
Confiscated goods, which were successfully auctioned included used auto spare parts serviceable along with the foundation of structure Hiace van, various brands of digital handy and still cameras, branded blankets, automated cordless kettle, new tryes, printed cloth of plain and assorted colours with different brands and an iPhone.
Few other goods were rejected due to the lower bid than their average price during the auction includes polyvinyl alcohol resin, Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S2, Apple iPhone, Nokia C3, LG cell phones and others goods.
