To impose the money laundering charge, the record of the case has been handed over to Customs Intelligence for further investigation.
The statements of Airport Security Force officials and other witnesses presented at the time of her arrest have been included in the report.
Customs official said that the department had prepared a valid report, on which the model could be punished in accordance with law. They added that in case Ayyan was indicted, she would be put behind the bars and the recovered amount of $0.5 million be confiscated.
Moreover, they said that in case she is released on bail, customs authorities will not be handing over her passport until the final decision in the case.
