KARACHI: Enforcement-South Chief Collector Muhammad Nazim Saleem has commended the efforts of Frontier Corps (FC), Balochistan, in uprooting the menace of smuggling from the province.
In a letter to the FC inspector general, Enforcement-South Chief Collector Muhammad Nazim Saleem has said that the officials and officers of Frontier Corps have extended their all-out support to the authorities concerned of MCC-Gwadar in uprooting smuggling activities in Balochistan.
In the letter, the Enforcement-South chief collector further said that the officers and officials of FC have made remarkable efforts with the customs officials of MCC-Gwadar in busting the smugglers’ dens in Awaran and Balti areas of Balochistan province.
Nazim Saleem urged the Frontier Corps IG to work jointly in the same manner to thwart smuggling bids in Balochistan, as the province has its sensitive dynamics as far as its borders are concerned.
In the letter, the Enforcement-South chief collector further assured the FC IG that assistance and support of customs officials would continue with Frontier Corps in order to eliminate smugglers and their illicit activities from the province.
Enforcement-South Chief Collector Muhammad Nazim Saleem in the letter hoped that the assistance of Frontier Corps, Balochistan, will continue with the authorities concerned of MCC-Gwadar in the future to uproot smuggling of Iranian diesel/petrol and other items.
