MOSCOW: Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee and the Federal Customs Service of Russia have signed a joint cooperation plan in Moscow.
The signing ceremony was held as a part of the visit of a delegation led by deputy chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee Asgar Abdullayev.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Abdullayev met deputy head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Ruslan Davidov to discuss a draft protocol on cooperation in air cargo transportation.The Azerbaijani delegation also watched a presentation on risk management in the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Speaking to the event, Davidov said Russia considered Azerbaijan its strategic partner.
Abdullayev, in trun, highlighted Azerbaijan`s socio-economic achievements.
